Portraits

We can shoot in-house or on location. We do both traditional (formal) and non-traditional (candids, erotic) portraiture. Previews of all images are provided at no additional charge, either on paper or online. We encourage feedback from clients as the work progresses.

Image alteration/restoration/enhancement

Images can be submitted in person, by mail, or over the internet. We do high res (3200 dpi) scanning of original artwork, photographs, slides, and transparencies. We will take a flawed or mediocre snapshot and transform it into a beautiful, enlarged archival print suitable for framing. We correct for damage or fading; improve contrast, sharpness, and color balance; remove unwanted elements (blemishes, ex-spouses); add new elements or background; or change the style of an image [color to B&W or sepia or B&W to color (hand tinting)]. We can also make a photo look like a sketch, woodcut, engraving, or painting.
